We’re here to help you or your child go from surviving to thriving
Parenting is already hard; parenting a child with a medical illness or behavioral problems can feel like your cup is spilling over with stress. Meanwhile children and teens are already dealing with a lot of stress between school, friends, and adapting after the pandemic. These stressors can compound when they have a medical condition, have difficulty expressing themselves, or trouble with their behaviors. Or maybe you are a young adult trying to navigate stressors of friends, career, and your future seems like a huge question mark keeping you up at night. You are taking great first step to seek out help for yourself or your child/teen to gain the support and skills needed to flourish.

Dr. Evette Addai,
Licensed Psychologist
I can help you and your child with creating healthier ways to cope with a disease, use positive skills in communication, learn healthier ways to express emotions, and change behaviors. After years of training and professional experience, I founded Mountain of Change Counseling and Psychological Services as a Chicago psychologist to help kids, teens, parents, and young adults reach a place of calm confidence with dealing with the curveballs of life and improve their well-being in a collaborative space. While I am a psychologist in Chicago, I also offer online therapy services to children and parents across Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Missouri, Washington, and other PsyPact states.
